View From The Hill

If I hadn't taken a detour before taking home the groceries...
If I hadn't driven to the top of our one hill hoping to find a picture to post...
Then I wouldn't have been there when the officer in the cruiser drove up to ask if I'd been there very long. If I'd seen a small white car there.(There was nothing there when I arrived.)
There's nothing more to the story.
I can confirm that I'm a lousy observer because when I was sorting photos later two views from the hill had smallish white vehicles in them.
Blipfoto makes my life so much more interesting. You might guess from this that it's a pretty quiet life.
