Last rays of the sun

Went to a excellent concert last night in St Magnus Cathedral, lots of the music being composed or arranged by Orcadians, followed by 5th Brandenburg Concerto. Really beautiful building in which to just sit and let the music wash over you. Lovely and relaxing and uplifting.

Today I am spoilt for choice blip wise. The sunrise was terrific, moody and dark with great light coming from behind the clouds, so that was that, blip taken care of before 8.30am.

Then later Ollie and I went down to the beach on the north side, where the waves were crashing in, and he charged in and out of the sea, being very photogenic and blippable.

Came home and started downloading loads of images. Went to put some more coal on the fire and saw there little sparrows on the pampas grass, with the setting sun on them so they were then in the running too.

I hate trying to make decisions, but after much deliberation these three got the star spot!
