Saving 2nd Base

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure (team Saving 2nd Base) and our giving campaign at work, we dressed in pink and stood in the symbol of the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon. If our photo wins, we will be able to donate $1000 to the cause. What a great gift that would be.

Two years ago, a wonderful woman of God, known by her friends as the African Queen, Leandrus lost her battle with breast cancer. She was dignified and gracious to the end. We miss her beautiful arms raised in worship and her lovely heart, giving until the end. To her and all those before and after...let's put an end to this wicked disease.
