Walk in the rain

Finally we are having some serious rain, and we should be are very thankful because we needed it badly. However, we will be really thankful if it doesn't rain non-stop through the month of October. In my opinion, this is our most beautiful month of the year: cool, crisp days, cold nights, lots of sun in bright blue skies, and trees dressed in colorful autumn leaves. It's a great month to be a blipper in Ohio, and I am looking forward to it. I can be gracious about an occasional chilly dawn to dusk rain like today, just as long as those days are few and far between. So here's hoping! Bring on the sunshine!

About the blip: Because of the rain, there were very few people in the park this afternoon, but this buck, along with quite a few others, was waiting right by the parking lot to greet us...on the playground actually. The designated welcoming committee , I suppose.
