I Put A Letter In The Mailbox

Most days while I'm at work, I see boy log on to his laptop when he gets up in the morning, wave and say hello electronically - I ask how he is doing and everything is always awesome and I go on my merry way.

When i'm leaving the office, he normally is popping back into his room after lunchtime. So we chat back and forth on and off all day - same as it ever was.

His dad on the other hand doesn't have the same Internet access and doesn't 'see'
Boy as often as I do and is always looking for updates.

Today he wrote his dad a newsy email just to bring him up to date. He was delighted and this is him composing his mail back.

He sat down and said 'what do i say'? This from someone who used to write me up to 8 pages every three days for months on end! Well he's been at it for 10 minutes now so we must be getting somewhere.

I think people should start writing 'proper' letters again. There is nothing quite like a letter dropping thru the letter box - I drop a letter to Boy every week, and alternately send him a Moo postcard with a picture from home! I know he likes them - I see them on his pin board in pictures!

Miss his hugs but who wouldn't? He is without a doubt the best hugger in the world. But he's always around and he never feels far from me cause he's in my heart.
