Wow, what a day it's been. Joe had surgery on his broken arm today. Turned out he had 2 incomplete fractures so the surgeon completely broke his arm and then reset it. Ouch. Apparently it was the loudest snap the surgeon has heard for a long time. Thanks for that info Doc!
Joe was in a lot of pain when we got him home and it was horrible to see, however he calmed down once the codeine kicked in. And he was thrilled to discover some gifts that had been left for him on the kitchen table, thank you ladies, you know who you are.
Hopefully we'll all get a good nights sleep tonight, we could certainly do with it !
