Phalaenopsis
I love our orchids, this one does very well in our north-facing bathroom and flowers for ages. The row of flowers is nice to see but when it comes to photography, it's that last single bloom of the raceme I want to blip.
I made a great discovery tonight! I was wanting to link back to a blip I was pleased with last year, but when I saw it I couldn't bring myself to do it. I realise how much I've learnt about Photoshop.
The Mother had a bit of a puzzle today, she asked what I'd been using metal polish on yesterday A picture hook, I said. Why, she said. For a blip, I said. But you don't have picture rails, she said. No, I only wanted to use it to put on blip, I said.
I showed her the blip. She rolled the picture hook in her fingers. After thinking about it she said: Oh, you took two pictures and put them together. No, for a change there was no jiggery pokery! I then gave her the other necessary part of the photo. A mirror. She still couldn't quite see it so I told her that I had then used the reflection as the subject of the photo and focused on it, not the actual item. The mirror also caused the floating look. Thanks for the comments.
