Kebabs

E, my trusty helper, had fun helping assemble dinner tonight - he sliced sausage and tofu and then threaded the chunks onto skewers along with the apples I'd sliced, creating patterns. Then he "painted" the kebabs with maple syrup.

Preparation was where the fun ended for E, though. He wasn't a fan of the baked apple or tofu chunks, to the point of actually gagging when he took a nibble of apple. (This made the rest of us dissolve into laughter, poor kid.) Luckily, he did like the sausage.

A loved the kebabs in their entirety and gobbled three!
