Love A Dove

A few decades ago to see a collard dove in your own garden was a rarity, so rare in fact you would have had a queue of twitchers outside your door demanding tea!!

I have two pairs of collard doves that regularly come down to feed on the sunflower hearts in my garden. This one was taken through my study window (must clean the glass one day!) Sometimes one sits on the chimney & coo coos for hours, we can hear it in the kitchen as the sound comes down the flue & echoes around the house! :)
