I thought I would share a little about my new job, since I've been there for a month already. My title is Special Education Aid at a middle school with grades 6th-9th. Since all the Special Education students are with the regular education students for all their classes except one. My job is to go into their classes and give them extra assistance. The thing is, I can't single out the students, so I act as a "classroom aid" and will help any student that needs it. I also go around the class making sure everyone is on task. I go to 5 different classes, do lunch supervision, and after school duty.

It's not my dream job, but getting to know some of the students has been fun and it is giving me a lot of experience getting to observe all the different teachers and how they deal with students.

I'm sorry for not being able to comment much. When I do have free time, I'm usually exhausted and don't get to it. I hope everyone is doing well.
