Winter Lay up

Well the Storm has come and gone, it was windy, and we had lots of rain, the house was surrounded by water about 2 inches deep when we got up this morning, Rain stopped, water went, end of drama! Decided to lay the Dulcie up for the winter, take the mast off and remove the Nicad which will go on a trickle charger, put a bag of Silicone Gel in the cabin against damp in the Radio. If we do get a good sailing day it will only take half an hour or so to re - rig her, and she takes up less room in the shed and the chance of damage is much less. Roll on next spring !!
