Bloomin' trains.

Me and Anna had fantastic weekend in London Sightseeing and seeing "Wicked".

All brilliant until today - Left London Kings X on time, had out seats, all ready to go - Left and after about 30 minutes the train stopped - Technical problem with component in Engine cab apparently. (Unfortunately we could all smell the burning (From the brakes we think) so knew the were lying a little)

We crawled to Peterborough where we had to swap onto the Newcastle train... Good bye reserved seating - Thank god we got across the platform bridge quick and got decent seat.

Eventually the guard advised we would not have to swap trains again at Newcastle and a new crew was brought on-board to take us to Edinburgh (No buffet car/trolley service but at least we got to keep our seats)

Thought I saw a fellow blipper on the train - But they were with family and did not want to appear stalker-ish or cause any irritation (After an already stressful journey)

Got home safe and sound just under 1 hour late - Anyways, this view through the train window lifted my spirits - A break in the weather, after torrential rain most of the way.
