Cello buddies

Here are (from right to left) Taylor, Hope, Nancy and Olivia just about to start the last workshop at the Suzuki Music weekend. The four girls were school friends at the now defunct St Margaret's School but met up again at the music weekend.

I popped in this afternoon to see them perform. The weekend is mostly for violin and viola but include some cellos and the odd double bass. All ages from tiny 3 and 4 year olds right up to teenagers.

All of them were brilliant. All of the children learn new pieces of music on the day and play in small groups right up to a full orchestra.
