"But I Don't Think I'm Scared"

This Side, Nickel Creek

Nelson and I went to a Nickel Creek concert, and they were, as always, stunning. The performance was flawless, and Nelson and I both walked away in awe of their talent. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed during the performance, so I had to grab a shot before. This is the ceiling of the auditorium.

Before the concert, I made dinner for Nelson and BK, my roommate/best friend, and we all ate together.

After the concert, Nelson and I came home and played Wii for a bit. (He's golfing as we speak) Next, we plan to search out some Scotch and try it with some of the fine chocolate my mother gave to us. There is a Nickel Creek song entitled, "Scotch and Chocolate," and ever since we heard it we wanted to try it. Sadly, we were only 20. Legal drinking age being 21, we had to wait. So. It's time! I'll let you know if it lives up to the song.



That reminds me...I can't think of the last time a movie lived up to its preceeding book.


Anyway, a wonderful evening, and I am looking forward to its conclusion.
