Real flames

Too wet and windy to venture out today - so after yesterdays Autumn leaf blip with stemma saying it looked like a flame ....... I bring you a real one! (and who would have thought taking a picture of flames was so blinking hard!)

The fire has been burning since lunchtime and there's a lovely toasty glow to the whole house - someone has been making the most of it! - though I guess we do need to empty the ash soon .....

Roast dinner underway - beer butt chicken, roasties, parsnips and veg - and not cooked by me - yeah!
