fortworth texas zoo

This is Mr. Peanut from the zoo....I just named him that. It was a great day to be outside and see the animals with my friends Alex and Heather (Hutch). We would probably agree that the cages were too small and smelly, but nevertheless we enjoyed our time at the Fort Worth, TX Zoo. I asked the girls today if they thought the animals had just as much fun watching us as we did them...kind of a funny thought to play out. The apes all starting at us today saying things like we did "look at that one! look at how weird they look! That one has a big butt!".
I admit I had to remind myself a couple of times that I had not seen a lot of these animals before...even though I had seen them on a high definition t.v. on Planet Earth with David Attenbourgh narrating. Oh the sadness of technology....
If you have not been to the zoo in a while I highly recommend a visit. And it is okay to go if you do not have small children. I promise...though most if not all of the visitors are moms with strollers. Just be confident.
