This cobweb greeted me at the kitchen window on getting up this morning at what felt like an unreasonably early hour although 7am isn't to be complained at when toddlers are concerned, I guess.

Very annoyed that I forgot to take my camera out again this afternoon (distracted with getting tantrummy toddler, high chair and various other bits into the car) as I missed a great blip opportunity at my Dad's - H and 'Greatgrandpa' Alf (age 96) on the sofa together: youngest and oldest members of the family. Actually they aren't really related, as Alf is my step-mum's Dad, but we call him Great Grandpa anyway - all very confusing for Alf, who is suffering with dementia and requires regular explanations of the family set-up. In spite of the dementia he still likes to get out for a walk every day and enjoys visiting new places, which I think is pretty inspirational at his age.
