Christening the Bath!

First thing this morning, there was a SureStart "clothes swap" - everyone takes clothes their baby has grown out of, and basically swaps it for stuff they need! It's a great deal! Katie got a very cute little t-shirt, a pair of dungarees and an velour all-in-one. Her cousin came too, she was really enjoying rooting round, finding pretty things for her!

When everyone had set off, Uncle Simon, Katie and I headed off to the city. When there, we realised a friend of ours was very near by so we all met up for a coffee and a wander, before heading home for Katie's bedtime.

The photo is the first time the new bath in the cousins bathroom was used... everyone agreed that Katie should be the one to try it first, as it was Katie who'd been bathing in the kitchen sink until now. This was the first night the builder/plumber had said it was good to go... so go Katie did, she was muchly impressed by the increased space to kick and wriggle in! Sadly, it was a 'one night only' performance as the next two nights it won't be useable as sealant will be drying, so it'll be back to the kitchen sink for Katie!
