Open Morning

Today was open morning at school for prospective parents (have another next Saturday as we are a split site school). It's been a bit of a nightmare getting the classroom sorted as we needed to have displays up, so I was there till 7.15 last night and got in at 7.30 this morning. But I was pleased.

I shifted all of the chairs into the storage room I have next the the classroom, and put out displays of religious artefacts and text books (not that we really use text books, but it gives them an idea of the sort of thing we do). I also had some meditation music playing and a rolling powerpoint slide show. It was a really busy morning and I was talking pretty much non-stop for two hours.

I do like my classroom :)
