Seven spot

Making the most of a dry day and a husband at home to baby squish I headed into the front to tame the garden. Sadly overlooked for most of the summer it took some attention but it is now ready for the impending winter. Whilst I was working I noticed this hardy little ladybird, happily it is a native seven spot, enjoying what is left of my lavender and the sunshine. Forecast rain again tomorrow.
