The Indian

We pass this fella almost every day
he stands outside of a downtown shop
and salutes in his own way.

Today was cold
and windy
and we took a walk
I in my new boots
and she with her brightest smile.

This image was a contestant for todays photo. And this image made me happy since it shows that there still remains a little summer in us... or near us anyway.
