Let Me Out of Here!

Today in the Royal Dublin Society's exhibition hall in Dublin there is a special show in progress. It consists of many foreign agencies and government bodies who are exhibiting their supports for Irish people wishing to emigrate. A queue formed even before the doors opened. This is what we have come to.
On the national radio station this morning I listened to a highly qualified professional man, a practising dentist, who explained that his business has dried up to such an extent that he has had to close his practice and now reckons that he will be joining the flight abroad. Our wonderful politicians have withdrawn just about every dental health support for their citizens leaving some great dentists twiddling their thumbs. Who will it be next? Most of our architects and engineers are already redundant.
For far too many of us it is time to get out of here.
