Piece of cake

So it was Mums birthday this week. The big 50. Since around this time last year it has been going around in my head what we were going to do to celebrate.
Was desided we'd have a Ceiligh and for the past few months i've been organising decorations, people and surprises.
What i was most pleased with however was the cake.
I love to bake and it can keep me happy for the best part of full days. However 80 cupcakes were out of my reach of being able to turn them out looking lovely and still stay calm.
I still get a kick out of them though. They tasted fantastic.
