Trawlers shelter from the approaching storm.

Portree pier this morning. The forecast is not great. Rain and wind. Stormy in the north Atlantic. It is on these occasions when we see more trawlers sheltering at our pier.

Autumn is upon us early this year. Though we have had some great days, generally the summer has been poor weather wise. Some of us had expected to see a better summer having had a cold snowy winter. It just goes to prove that really none of us know what is lurking round the corner.
