sunset reflected

Leaving work I came upon such a glorious sunset as I haven't seen for a long time! A quick detour then provided a wonderful view. However the reflection on the roof proved to be even more impressive.

A short while ago I was discussing with some friends about each one's favorite time of the year. They were really surprised, one might say they were shocked, when I said that I prefer winter even above summer. Such a strange thing for a Greek to say. Still there is something about the quality of the light during the day that pretty much takes my breath away!
