Old Souls

October makes me think of All Saints Day, Halloween and the visual arrival of Fall.
I made a stop at the oldest cemetery is our area. The West is young compared to the rest if the planet....this cemetery holds gravestones that date back to the early 1800's. I have always respected cemeteries - the names, the sayings, the reverent silence and the time given to reflect on my own mortality. I took many shots...I like this one because of the sun and the Fall colors of the oak tree and the togetherness of the gravestones within the iron fence. For me, I see peace and composure for these old souls.
