Sampling the wares at the Rockland Bakery in Nanuet, NY, just north of the city.

It calls itself the Premium Bakery of the Northeast, and I have no reason to question this claim after eating two of its amazing bagels and one of its apple fritters. So far.

There were loads of women like this when we popped through, grabbing their bread for the weekend, as well as restaurateurs stocking up for tonight.

And I am sure you can imagine the aroma...

Take a big sniff
