View from the ditch

Beautiful view on the way over to Haltwhistle this morning for a day with friends at the soft play centre there. The fog was sitting in the Tyne Valley, but up on the hills it was glorious sunshine. I got out of the car to take a photo, but taking a step onto the verge, didn't realise the overgrowth was hiding an extremely deep ditch, and my leg went in there all the way up to the hip (admittedly that doesn't take much as my legs aren't that long). Oops.
