Little guy

This chap is actually 8 feet tall and stands atop a 160 foot spire on the London England Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This temple was the first in Britain and only the second LDS temple in Europe (facts filched from the site linked earlier). That page also tells us that this guy is the angel Moroni.

I go past this church on days when I go to the office via the motorways; a few weeks ago I left home early to see if I could grab a shot with the sunlight striking the statue - it's awesome. Today I had five minutes so I grabbed this as an "insurance shot" and as the weather took a turn for the "rain of Biblical proportions" so this is as good as it's getting today.

And now I'm offski - Cal is staying and we've just shifted an unreasonable quantity of pizza and garlic bread so I'm going to get him to shift along the sofa and make space for me to doss out.
