The (not so) calm before the storm

I took Riley down to Hammonassett to watch the waves crashing in from these crazy winds. Big tropical front coming our way...gonna drench us in rain with very high winds, they say. "They" being the weatherman who was down on the beach with us with his camera-man doing a live feed for the news.

"We're down at Hammonassett Beach State Park where the winds are howling, and the sea is angry...but more importantly, there's a cute little one year old girl here, running around the beach chasing sea gulls and eating sand! Now back to you in the studio..."

OK, so maybe that isnt exactly what he said! Hehehehe ;)

So, now that we're home and waiting for the rain, I think today is a good 'stay home and snuggle with the baby' kind of day.....until I have to go to work, that is :)
