Irrigation canal
This is one of the major irrigation canals in this area.
This is the time of rice cultivation too, which need lots of water. Normally this huge amount of water comes from the rain in this session.
This year there is 37% less rain in this part of India till now so the canal became the source of water to cultivate. On this canal major farming activity depends.
Unfortunately the canal also doesn't have enough water to irrigate.
Here the local tribal boys are having fun in the shallow water
