Never again.
Today I dipped my toes in the murky water that is wedding photography. I will never have my toes so much as near the aforementioned murky water ever again.
I have to say that the most nonchalant of brides coupled with the most chilled groom makes for a very stressed photographer. I love the couple dearly and managed to get all the shots I had planned on with plenty extra but jeezo what a palaver!! I take my hat off to anyone who does this for a living and manages not to combust through the stress of it all.
The high point of the day (other than seeing two lovely friends get married) was the chicken. I do not know how the caterers made it so tender and soft, it's the best chicken i've ever eaten. Fact. The champagne also went down well.
A top day with lovely people but by God did I sleep like a log...
...seeing as i'm backblipping this I now know that if photographing a wedding doesn't get you, the post processing sure will. Now repeat after me - less is more...less is more...less is more
