Art class.

Last day in September and amazingly we had a whole day of gorgeous weather. It was much too nice to sit inside so we took all of our art stuff out and set up in the sunshine.
This is a sneaky pic of my mum happily painting away at her silver birches and actually finding real life inspiration for them instead of having photographs. Most unusual around these parts, especially considering how our Autumnal Art Lesson yesterday consisted of us all huddled around our coffees in the hall bemoaning the miserable grey skies and the rain endlessly lashing against the windows!
Ah the Scottish weather, who knows what it will do next...
