End of Season

The gates of Kumpula garden closed tonight for the last time this year. It's seven long months before I can go there again!

It was lovely to take one more walk in chilly evening with setting sun giving its golden light to the treetops, thrushes rustling in fallen leaves under bushes and a hare hopping slowly towards shadows. There were still surprisingly many flowers in bloom, but this time it were the colours of the leaves that nearly made my heart break. Unbearably beautiful.
