Too early...

Walking through Stevenage (don't ask why, it really is a grim overspill of London, without the colour and flair of the capital) I spotted these council workers on the cherry picker. Can you guess what they are doing? Yes that's right on the last day of September they are erecting Stevenage's Christmas lights! Now I like Christmas as much as the next person and also realise that Municiple lighting can't go up over night, but does it really need to go up in September?
