Fresh Oil

Big Excitement in our neighborhood today.

A new layer of Seal Coat was added to the street in front of our house. This operation is necessary because the hot sun bakes the volatiles out of the blacktop, which some of you may call macadam.

One man has a big steel sheet to be used for masking the cement curb, one man sprays, a third handles the hose, and the driver moves along at a brisk walking pace for the painters.

It was so exciting that I missed my daily blip and had to back-blip this one.

Also, the cover on my sample book of blips is about ready so I can send it in for a test. This will be my February Blips and a 30 pager. If this prints satisfactorily, then I'll prepare a 250 page book.
