Day 14: Tram #13, Bratislava
Vienna surly don't list as my favourite city... it's kind of boring as what I said yesterday. So, today I make a short day trip to Bratislava, Capital of Slovakia. It's only 1 hour train from Wien (you can even take ferries)
Bratislava is a capital that never looked like one. Personally, I love this city so much, she has a very unique landscape, in compared with the rush from capitals, she is more like a town in Eastern/Central Europe. There is much more "style" than in Prague, although the city is also full of tourists, but you won't even feel ignoring. It is very worth to walk up to the Castle Hill, where you can view red roof meet the gray commuists buildings, so as the "UFO bridge" conneted to new city, prove of communist rule for the forty-five years. This is real history!
#13 Tram link you from the main railway station (which outlook is so communist) to the old city center! :D
