Drip

Well, as you can see I wound up in hospital today. Went to GP this morning re stomach pains. Had to phone in sick on my only working day this week, oops. Expected GP to give me a prescription for a UTI or something similar.

Oh no, she sent me straight to A and E. Several hours of hanging around in various corridors from 11am, I finally arrived on the surgical receiving ward at 4pm.

I'm hooked up to IV fluids and strictly nil by mouth :-(. Not eaten or drunk anything since yesterday lunchtime.

Kerrsdaddy and my dad came to visit this evening, while my mum looked after Kerr. Looks like I'll be getting an abdominal ultrasound scan in the morning then see where they go from there.

We were supposed to be going away to Kinloch Rannoch this evening for a few days. Instead I'm having a holiday in the lovely Monklands Hospital. Typical!
