Inspiration, blue food colouring and cream

This is inspired completely by Devil & The Deep Blue Sea's gorgeous water drop shot from yesterday. Myself I ended up with a vase filled with water, a heapload of blue food colouring and some double cream... It was fun, but I didn't get the focus right, and could definitely have put the camera closer. These creamy shapes in the blue water was the most fun that was to be had on my memory card afterwards. Oh well, I'll just have to try it again another day I guess!

(Learning by doing: don't put a vase almost overflowing with water on a white windowsill and start dripping blue food colouring in it from too high up... some cleaning took care of the mess afterwards, but I won't do it like that again!)
