Harvest farewells

So the time has come for our lovely Rector to retire. We'll miss her loads as a congregation and as a family. Today was about celebrating, both the Harvest, and celebrating Pat and her future happiness. You can see a picture here of the morning service sermon, the evening service was also packed out and even more emotional. We stayed after the morning family service to share in a hog roast meal (or veggie sausage for me) and then bouncy castle and fun during the afternoon. The evening service finished with cake, bubbly and fireworks. I think it was a wonderful send off for a wonderful lady.
