Its good to talk...NOT!

Spent most of the morning on the phone to Malaysia, Bombay, Calcutta and God knows where all else. If you recall I spoke to Pipex last week regarding my phone being down. They asured me an engingeer would get in touch and I gave them my mobile number. that was last week, when I phoned again yesterday they said " you didnt give an excternal number" Not true! I did, not once but twice!

Today all each international disembodied voice would say was" are you willing to pay £100 for a call out if its not the line or the exchange?" Well how in the Hell am I supposed to find out if they don't send a bloody engineer? They also tried the old chestnut today of me not leaving them an external number so they are at it as I have now heard that on twice!

Tomorrow they said they would send an engineer between 8 and one ! I await to see the outcome!

Why can't we speak to workers form this country? I'm not being racist, I just feel that I am a British citizen and my profound wish would be to speak to a fellow Brit irrespective of their colour , creed on Nationality all I ask is that they live in this damn country thus understand my accent (hopefully) but at least understand what part of the bloody country I am calling from!

Does that mean that all our own people who work in British call centres deal with other parts of the world? We need to employ businesses in our own country not in some poor far off place where all we doing is perpetuating that these poor folks are earning pennies from the multinationals that employ them, and they have no desire to pay a decent wage to these folks.

No wonder this country is in such a mess. All our heavy industry has been transferred to Indonesia or some other place, our banking is run by a bunch of theives and normal admin work and cleaning jobs are all that is availible to our youngsters (that is those who actually chose to work in the first place)
Our Governments prefer people to have to rely on social security etc so they can controll their movements etc!

Up the Revolution and down with Pipex!
