Michelia - Magnolia Family
I was strolling through the park and came across this beautiful Michelia. The small bush was covered in masses of creamy white, lemon scented blooms. Such a wonderful display - wouldn't mind it for the home garden. I also saw cherry trees with blossom drifting to the ground and daffodils with their heads slightly bent.
It felt good to be in the park today, sheltered from the Nor west wind. As we travelled home we crossed the beautiful Rakaia River, the water had changed to a light blue brown colour due to the rain on the West Coast.
I'm running a day behind with blip but hope to catch up over the next few days. School holidays are here and the routine has changed.
If you would like to view yesterdays backblip click on the Rakaia River link above, a landscape image I'm quite chuffed with :)
Have a great week :)
