Blea Water
Vacation blip 3
At 200 feet, the deepest of the Lake District Tarns. This nearly circular tarn is a classic example of a corrie tarn, formed in a deep depression carved by a glacier and surrounded by an amphitheatre of cliffs.
Apologies once again that time is short and I am not commenting at the moment, but I thought blippers might be interested to see this. There are far better pictures on Google Images, but this was the best I could do on a day of low cloud with only a compact camera to hand.
