Undercover

There are quite a lot of dreich, grey and raindroppy images on blip today, because that's the kind of miserable day it was.

I hadn't thought about my camera once today as it was a day of mad running around. The internet was working but it was the photocopier's day off it would seem. Hmmm. Technology.

I got home and saw these geraniums at the front door looking very drippy and dropletty so nipped out quickly. The neighbour came out while I was fiddling with the buttons and my reaction was to dart back in the house in a mad, deranged and tube-like fashion rather than explain calmly and with some maturity why I was standing photographing a drooping flower in the half-light and in the rain. The thing is, I darted quite slowly, hence making the whole situation more ridiculous than it really was.

Some things are too difficult to explain.
