heating up

Today, a welder had to make a welding seam on a flange from a Gasturbine There was a dent in the flange and he had to fill it up (On these kind a flanges you can't use gaskets , just metal to metal). He is pre heating the metal to avoid an undercut edge. When the welder is finished a milling machine will remove the welding seam and egualize the surface.
