Rattray Head
Another glorious day in the North East of Scotland this is about 7 miles North of Peterhead at Rattray Head and looking towards St Fegus Gas terminal. One of the recent viewers alfthomas mentioned it, so decided to have a look.
Rattray head has some of the most important sand dunes in the country, unfortunately, the road takes some negotiation but the outcome is worthwhile.
Nothing to compare with some of my fellow blipers but I managed to snap an action shot at the light house engineered in 1895 to protect vessels from this dangerous stretch of coast.
