Back to school.

The school has a rather fantastic woodland area within it's grounds. The problem with all these things is the managing of it. So I kindly volunteered Tracey's Dad to be a kind of woodland warden for the place and he is doing a fantastic job of it.

i was round this afternoon giving him a hand to move a load of timber.

The headstone above is all that survives from the original school that was built by the mineres from the village in 1861.
