Wow, what a view!

This must be a bit tongue in cheek! I'm sure it's quite often misty at the top of Cairngorm...

It was too cloudy on the tops for us to go on our planned mountain walk, but that meant we had the chance to go up Cairngorm mountain on the funicular railway. Snow at the top, and freezing cold and not much to see except cloud, but with a cafe serving its famous hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows.

On the drive back down we even saw a herd of reindeer at the side of the road. Very Christmassy!
