Sunday nonsense
I suspect it's a sign of a good Sunday when you have little more to think about than how the contents of your drawer accumulated. I'm quite sure that "oh look, it has the perfect drawer for all that stuff we never know where to put" was not part of the buying decision. I do wonder if we started off giving it an actual function. If we did it is clearly long forgotten. Unless, of course, it was to house all the stuff we had no idea where else to put. It's the certainly the first place I look for most things.
Great party last night so slightly slow start to the day. Though I think there may have been more dancing than drinking as my feet are the most sore part of my body this morning.
The kids are besides themselves as they are about to be taken out for the day by their old (as in former, she's only 25) nanny and her husband. I would post a link to the emotional day she left us earlier this summer but I haven't worked out how to copy and paste in MacLand - any tips welcomed!
Though Anna has taken time out of her excitement to look at my screen and ask why I am looking at pictures of rubbish!
Carl and I are off for a wander along the river in the rain to hunt down a lovely warming pub for lunch.
Happy Sundays
