Cold northerly wind

#2 son set off on his Duke of Edinburgh expedition at 9am this morning. It was very cold but the sky was blue and the sun was shining. I haven't heard from him, so I assume he's ok, hasn't yanked the stitches out of his back or crocked his ankle again... I guess I'll find out tomorrow... hope he's not too cold in his tent tonight, bless him. #1 son is out celebrating his 18th birthday (again) and likely to stay out all night, so I've got the house to myself... and all I have the energy to do is watch crap tv. Still, nice wine on very special offer at Sainsbury's yesterday means I'm not feeling the chill in the air!
